Reception helped us with our bags up the stairs (note that there is no lift). The door uses a passcode, and there is no actual receptionist there. This is a simple place to stay, perfect for travellers who will not be staying in the hotel for the whole day or looking to use the hotel’s facilities. However, the receptionist is easy to reach via the phone in yo This is simply a place to crash. It’s comfortable and clean, there is daily housekeeping. Extra towels can be requested. Xing Tian Gong MRT Station is only a 5 minutes walk away, with a few local eateries along the way. Overall, me and my sister are very happy with our stay.

If you're on a tight budget and want to stay in a decent "hotel-type" room, this is the place for you. But remember that this is NOT a hotel so don't expect a lobby with concierge, lounge area, reception desk, etc. You get a basic ensuite room, that's it. Correspondence thru emails were smooth. But do not expect anything extra from what you paid for e.g. extra pillows, late check-out, any info re the city, etc. which was a bit of a disappointment. You are basically on your own so first time travelers in Taipei, do your research! Sleep comfort - slept like a baby Location - 5 minute walk to the nearest MRT station (Xingtian Temple/Orange Line) Proximity - lots of convenience stores, restos, coffee shops nearby. There is also a grocery store a block away en route to the MRT station. I was informed there was none btw. Value for money - worth every cent Room tip: if you have physical limitations or injuries and you are on the upper floors, be warned that there is no elevator and stairs are quite tight and steep. This experience was a good lesson for me as I am an avid AirBnB user. Altho this was not a bad experience, I will most probably go back to using AirBnB in my next trips.

I stayed 3 nights for my private travel. My impressions are the following; <Good> - Necessary and sufficient clean room to stay - 2 bottles of water for free per night - Air conditioner and dehumidifier - Close to the convenience store and MRT station (行天宮) - Free Wi-Fi connection (but not enough secure) <NOTICE> - At first, it is difficult to find the entrance of this hotel - If you stay at 1st floor, you might bother your sleep because people go and come through the entrance in front of your room (literally right in front at 1st floor). - No fridge - No safety box - No dedicated toilet tissue - Tissue has fusty

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from 20 - 24 Sept. This place does not have a signboard but it is not difficult to find as I have pin this place on my google map. It is just next to a motorbike shop “KYMCO”. The room is modern with all basic necessities provided (e.g. shampoo, shower gel, tv, air purifier, tooth brushes, toilet paper, tea, coffee, bottled drinking water, air-con etc). There is no reception in this hotel and we had to press the telecom at the door to identify ourselves to get access – we are fine with this arrangement. There is no elevator in this hotel but the highest floor is just level 3 so this is fine with us as well since our luggage are just 2 backpacks. Considering the low price tag, this hotel is still a good choice and recommended for non-fussy travellers. This hotel didn’t get a full 5/5 rating from me because of the following: - The corners of the room is dusty - Clean towels are provided daily but the condition of the towels are not good (torn with stained marking) - Our twin single beds became an one double bed on the last night of our stay

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. The location is near to a Metro station but difficult to locate upon our arrival as there is no signage except for the postal address. There's no reception as guests are required to press an intercom for identification and booking details. A person will then release the door lock mechanism for you to enter and collect your key. This process is repeated on every return after you have the inn. There's no lift and the staircase is narrow and steep. The room size is very economical and is fairly new. There's a large plasma TV screen, electric kettle with complimentary instant coffee satchets and tea bags, daily complimentary bottle of drinking water, air dehumidifier and air condition. The bed linen is clean and changed daily. The bathroom size is minimal but modern with good water pressure in the shower. However, noise insulation could be improved. There are several small F & B shops in the vicinity. Overall, an enjoyable stay for an affordable price.
